Royal Company

The title of a "Royal Company"

Being granted the title of "Royal" is a favour awarded by His Majesty the King to companies and associations meeting certain strict conditions. 

An association must have at least 50 years of uninterrupted operations, must not pursue commercial objectives, must show every sign of good repute and sound management, and must be of a certain significance in terms of its activities and social impact. 

The High Official of the Brussels Conurbation awards the title of "Royal" on behalf of His Majesty the King.
